Lovely overnight stay
06 May 2019
Great hotel. We had one of the refurbished rooms which was compact but decorated to a high standard and had lovely little touches. The swimming pool is fab with hot tub and sauna and the breakfast was great quality and really tasty. Staff were all very polite and friendly and customer service all round was excellent. I’d definitely recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel with friendly helpful staff. There was a good selection of food on the menu which was served efficiently. The room was pleasant and the facilities good bed comfortable. All in all an excellent stay.

Pleasant and relaxing night
08 November 2014
Really enjoyed our one night stay at Stonecross Manor. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. The room was in need of a little redecorating though and the mattress on the four poster bed was definitely past it's best by date - rather saggy and uncomfortable. That said, the room was spotlessly clean and the shower was nothing short of wonderful!! Additionally, the meal we had in the hotel restaurant was excellent and the breakfast the following morning was also very good, despite being a hot buffet. I would certainly recommend this experience to others with the caveat that the bedroom may not be the most modern or freshly decorated.

Could do better
11 August 2014
This hotel could be amazing, but needs a lot of improvements. We were in a four poster room, and at first glance I was really impressed, but then noticed a lot of issues. Starting in the bathroom, the tiles on the bath were coming off, the wallpaper was peeling off with the steam, and there was black mould on it, the jacuzzi bath had black marks in it as though someone had stubbed out their cigarette on it several times, the wooden towel rail had knobs missing on it and exposed screws which could be dangerous. In the bedroom, one of the bedside tables had a missing door and missing knob on the drawer, the dressing table had missing knobs and doors, the table had marks on it, the sofa and chair had pulls on them and looked as though they had just come from a charity shop, the window latch was broken, and the bedside lamp on one side didn't work.
