Deluxe Room let us down
14 November 2021
Everything about this hotel is lovely, from great customer service to spa facilities to cream tea in the afternoon but having our room upgraded from an executive to a deluxe for an extra charge we assumed it would be a relaxing stay which was quite far from it. Our room was good with dimmable lights and a spacious bathroom but hot water took almost 10 minutes to come on and had to call reception about it, the lights in the bedroom would flicker every few seconds, the right side of the bed had a big dent so didn't have a good night sleep, and the rooms get hot and cold throughout the night. You can also hear everything clearly from the room such as the floorboards of people moving around and returning to their rooms, though we cannot fault the staff at all. They made our stay very pleasant - thank you!!

Girls Spa Weekend
14 November 2021
We as a group of 4 booked a ladies spa weekend and the whole process of booking to leaving the hotel was great! Driving to the location was easy with lots of free parking spaces. We upgraded our rooms as all of the executive rooms were taken for that weekend for an extra (£30 per room) which is not bad. The only downside to the whole stay was that the room gets really hot during the night, and the walls and doors are very thin so you hear every single noise from other guests listening to music in their room, walking up the stairs to their room and even the creaky floorboards of them walking around in their room. It's extremely thin so if you're thinking of a lovely quiet nights rest then I would not recommend. Other than that, staff were all so friendly and accommodating, the spa facilities are great and it can get busy.
