This was a Christmas present off my parents, and decided to go to Barcelona and stay at hotel mitus in Canet de Mar! The hotel was fabulous, clean and the staff were really nice! It was only 5 min walk to the beach which was great, however we struggled to find lively bars at night near the hotel or matero, so we did venture into Barcelona city centre. It only takes about 40 mins on the train and costs about €80 euros in a taxi. It’s definitely worth it though because the centre is full of bars, clubs and lovely restaurants.

Nice hotel in a nice area with lots of cafes and restaurants. Beach is very close by with the train station a 5 minute walking distance from hotel where you can get to Barcelona

Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, clean with good amenities. Our room was on the 3rd floor which had the best view of the sea and mountains and a lovely private terrace. Even though the hotel is an hour's train journey out of Barcelona centre connections are good, cheap and frequent, plus canet de mar is a pretty location right next to the beach. You have the best of both being somewhere quiet but with options to have the hustle if desired.

Cute little hotel, quiet with excellent coffee! You can have all your meals out in the garden and the train station and beach are both a couple of steps from the door. Barcelona is an hours train ride along the coast. Would go back!

This is a little gem of a hotel, so much so I am reluctant to share it!
The hotel is spotless, close to the mainline train stain , which takes you into the city. The beach is on the doorstep, the breakfast was plentiful and delicious.
The staff attentive and I think their 1* status needs to be upgraded to a 4*.
We will be back!
