Bookings Executive - Buying

Reports to: Onboarding and Integration Manager Location: Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, WD6 (60% working from home time offered).

First a bit about the role:

We are looking for a Bookings Executive who will be responsible for the day to day onboarding of partners using our online booking systems.

As a Bookings Executive you will ensure the smooth and timely set up of all partners joining our online booking platforms. Working closely with different departments to troubleshoot issues and provide guidance. Joining a fast paced work environment, you will be expected to resolve cases efficiently whilst managing your own time. We are passionate about what we do – and we want you to be too!

A bit more about the role:

  • Configuration of journeys for all online bookable products including;
    • Hotel bookings
    • Spa bookings
    • Days Out bookings
    • Theatre bookings
    • Code redemptions
  • Collaboration with Production Team to ensure product booking journeys set up is aligned with target product launch schedules
  • Support the Onboarding and Integrations Manager in working with Buying and Product Teams to optimise processes used
  • Assist Customer Services with issue resolution related to booking system settings
  • Creation of training resources for sharing knowledge of all booking system processes across the Team
  • Creation of IT requests for system improvements to support efficiency gains, and bugs affecting products

And now about you:

  • Strong proofing skills and scrupulous attention to detail
  • Ability to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A keen interest in problem solving
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of Office, Word, Excel etc.
  • Basic knowledge of Photoshop (cropped/basic photo editing) would be good to have, although training can be given
  • Strong teamwork ethic, supporting colleagues and giving/receiving help to ensure project success
  • Ability to learn quickly, think proactively and confidently build solid working relationships with peers
  • Ability to work under pressure, with proven time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to analyse complex processes to find opportunities for improvement
