Fabulous 4 hours on an absolutely beautiful train. Staff were very attentive and provided history on the carriages. Food and drink was as good as The Ritz or Savoy afternoon tea. The seats are winged back chairs so we’re very comfortable. Thoroughly recommend.

The service on board the Belmond train was first class. The afternoon tea was delicious with a glass of bubbly to get you started. You have the usual supply of sandwiches, along with a sausage roll and cheese puff which tasted fabulous. Warm scones are followed by a selection of mini cakes and pastries along with a plentiful supply of tea or coffee. The trip lasts about three and a half hours and the service is immense. All the coaches are individually designed and you can read about their history in the brochure. Overall it was a lovely experience.

A lovely genteel experience. An occasion to dress up for, wonderful food. A lovely opportunity to experience the luxury of the pullman train and made very special by the attention of the staff. A really memorable treat.
