Set yourself a real challenge and take on The Bear Grylls Adventure High Ropes course at The NEC in Birmingham. With this experience, you and one other person will spend an hour roaming Europe’s tallest high ropes course at a massive 20 metres above the ground! With 36 obstacles to face ranging from simple rope bridges on the lower levels to challenging rolling logs on the top level, you can craft your own adventure. Take in the breath-taking views of the surrounding area and push yourself to the limit. Back on the ground, you’ll also have unlimited access to the Royal Marines-inspired Assault Course for an extra challenge. Are you brave enough?

What do I need to know?

- This activity lasts for one hour. Please arrive 30 minutes before your activity start time
- All participants must complete a waiver upon check in
- Minimum age: 8 years
- 8 and 9-year-olds must be accompanied on the activity by a participating adult aged 18 or over. This adult must have a full activity ticket and must remain on the same High Ropes level as the child at all times. Guests aged 10–15 years must have an adult present at check-in to sign waivers, but can enjoy the adventure unaccompanied
- Maximum weight is 20st (130kg)
- Minimum height is 4’2” (1.3m)
- Maximum height is 6’7” (2.03m)
- This experience is not suitable for pregnant people
- This activity will take place in all weathers, excluding extreme high winds or thunder
- It is recommended that participants wear comfortable clothing, closed toe shoes and extra layers. Please ensure that clothing covers any part of the body in contact with the harness, including upper thighs and waist
- Free on-site lockers are available to store valuables and loose items. No jewellery, mobile phones or loose items can be worn during this activity
