If you’re a sushi lover who’s looking to learn how to make your own delicious sushi, then this is the class for you. Head to the Gordon Ramsay Academy in Woking for a three-hour introduction to sushi making masterclass with professional chefs who will teach you through a combination of demonstrations, hands-on cooking, and tips and advice. You’ll start off by learning how to make the perfect seasoned sushi rice, before moving onto shaping and rolling your own maki rolls, and making simple fish, seafood or vegetable fillings to give you all the skills you need to make sushi at home. Come away with plenty of ideas for more experimental flavours and ingredients, as well as the recipes from the class. If you can resist eating them there and then, you’ll be able to take your sushi home to enjoy!

What do I need to know?

- Available on selected dates, year round
- Choose either a morning or afternoon class. Please allow up to four hours for the whole experience and arrive up to 30 minutes before the class starts to check in at reception
- It is recommended that you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure best availability
- Minimum age: 16 years

- Please inform the supplier of any dietary requirements at the point of booking
- Comfortable clothes and flat, closed-toe shoes are recommended
