very pleasant with a few surprises

Afternoon cream tea at Harrods was very pleasant. The staff were amazing, the preseco delicious and the scones, cream and jam totally jummy. The surprise was that we were asked to pay 12.5% service charge.
I feel let down by Buy a Gift as I do not expect an experience arranged by them to incur direct costs to the gift recipient!!

I was given a buy a gift voucher for cream tea for 2 at Harrods London. It was easy to book everything was very straight forward. Staff very attentive Tea scones jam cream and Prosecco lovely treat

The gift was for afternoon tea and when I booked the even I was told no different. We arrived at Harrods for ‘afternoon tea’ and all we got was scones and Jam when we asked the staff they advised that it’s an error when booking and that they will get the wording changed. We were treated differently to all the others who were paying. I would not recommend the staff were rude and we will not be returning.

We had a very special time at Harrods. The service was impeccable and the surroundings enchanting. The cream tea was delicious. We enjoyed looking through the great variety of choices for tea, as well as all the other drinks on offer.
