Our Charity Work
Cool Earth
We want our customers to feel confident that they can enjoy our experiences without having a negative impact on the world around them. It’s why we were the first UK experience provider to be certified as carbon neutral, and why we partnered with Cool Earth more than 13 years ago.
Cool Earth works tirelessly to protect the planet’s rainforests and fight the climate crisis. How? By working with the communities living in these areas – whether that’s providing donations to them directly, or by funding and facilitating projects that help locals to drive sustainable income.
Since 2009, we’ve worked with Cool Earth to protect forest land and endangered species in Zimbabwe, restore landscapes in Colombia, and provide solar-powered energy in India. And we’re only just getting started.
Allsorts Youth Project
Buyagift is passionate about making sure the LGBTQ+ community feels supported and included. As part of our #NotJustAMonth Pride campaign, we asked for help from Allsorts Youth Project to understand what we can do as a business to ensure that’s the case all year round – not just one month out of the year.
Allsorts Youth Project is a Brighton-based charity that provides support and guidance to children and young adults who are part of the community, or currently exploring their identity or sexual orientation.
Herts Young Homeless
Herts Young Homeless supports vulnerable young people in the area local to our Borehamwood HQ.
CEO Dan met the HYH team a few years back and, since then, we’ve been honoured to help with things like furniture building in their flagship shelter, Future Roots, providing experience days for charity raffles, and raising funds through initiatives like our 2021 sponsored sleepout.
