Great Christmas gift.
30 September 2025
Much appreciated gift which gets us out and about. It will repay it's value many times.
Only complaint is that the form which is sent out online could not be typed in. So, we had to contact English Heritage for help. They also were unable to access the Buyagift site. The membership gift is great - redeeming it was a hassle.

waste of time

So havinog been given an English Heritage pass withg buyagift, it turns out it then takes weeks to actully get a pass and be able to go anywhere. Would have been far better to just.. um... buy a pass from English Heritage and give it to me in a working state.
As for English Heritage... well, we saw a great performance by Henning Wehn, German comedian. On the subject of the English flying St George's flags to ward off burtglars he suggested flying an English Heritage flag in stead - it would cost them at least 30 pounds to get in and they would find nothing worth stealing.

Now we are retired, this was a lovely gift which we can enjoy 12 months long. Free entry to all English sites and 50% off the Welsh equivalents, so just pay for coffee and cake. Easy to sign up, just fill in the on line form and attach your voucher. Had temporary membership details within 48 hours and full pack within 14 days. Can't wait to get started.

We got the gift in August last year. Hotels refused to accept it and we spent days trying to redeem it. This last National Heritage membership is only valid for one month!
