About the experience
If you're one of the many fans that fell in love with the award winning TV adaptation of Call the Midwife then you can jump in to the heart-warming world created by Jennifer Worth with The Official Call the Midwife tour, overseen by the show's producers at Neal Street Productions. You and your guest will be exploring the historic Chatham Dockyard which has been the backdrop for many of the show's most iconic scenes. Led by your very own costumed midwife you’ll walk along the roads, and pass slums and warehouses which are the midwife's backdrop as they cycle around the east end. Once you’ve explored every corner of Poplar you can find out what other gems are hidden at Chatham Dockyard, including props, sets, costumes and material from the latest series.

Great experience
We thoroughly enjoyed our Call the Midlife Tour for Two. Knowledgeable and friendly guide (a proper nurse in charge)
Chatham dockyard is also a very interesting venue. The cherry on the cake was to able to imagine and see some of the reconstructed sets at the end. We were also able to have commerative photo shoot at the end.

done the tour, it was quite long and was all outside. We thought there would be more inside views of buildings. only a small time at end of tour.

Highly recommended
A fantastic tour for all Call the Midwife fans. The guide was very knowledgeable and able to link series episodes to the areas within the dock yard where they were filmed.
The dock yard eatery - The Mess Deck, was well priced and able to provide a very good range of gluten free options.
