Once you’ve had your fill of sightseeing, make your way to the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse and Grill, an elegant restaurant in the heart of Islington serving up an exquisite blend of British and French cuisine, including dishes such as rib eye steak with pommes frites and fried haddock. Three Course Meal But Without Cocktails. It would seem that the option of cocktails has been withdrawn for some reason so MPW Islington are used to having to tell guests that they can have options from their drinks list in lieu. Not a huge disappointment, but it was very surprising to find the restaurant almost empty at 8pm on a Friday night when we left. Excellent food & service but ambience obviously less than ideal due to the funereal silence.

Best Gift Ever

After being given this gift as a birthday present we were eager to use it. We phoned the restaurant just after 5 to book a table and explained that we had a buy a gift voucher. Booking was very easy. When we arrived, it was quiet and cool (we went to London on the hottest day) the service was amazing from Vinfran, he told us what was in the offer and kept checking on us. The food was delicious, and quick. We weren’t rushed to leave and really enjoyed our evening. We will 100% be going back again.

The restaurant was very nice with attentive staff.
The meal was really well cooked and of a good quality. Choices on the se5 menu could be a bit more interesting. Or with more variety/ choice however what we did have was delicious. Smoked salmon- ribeye steak, calamari - rub eye steak. We did not stay for dessert as we had a show to go to.

When we arrived we were told there’s no cocktails. Menu was very limited and service was really slow. We asked for some cream to go on the cheesecake (which was warm, not chilled) and they simply never bothered bringing any. I certainly won’t be going back there or to any other Marco Pierre White restaurant.

Disappointing!

First of all, there are no cocktails, but
other drinks were offered instead.
The standard menu choices were limited and fairly basic. We did not enquire if it were possible to have an allowance against the A La Carte menu. It would be nice if this were possible as more choice and hopefully, some Marco Pierre White flair!! Staff were very good.
