Meet the Animals for Two at Lakeland Wildlife Oasis 11870572

Loved every minute of the day, beautiful wildlife park, friendly staff, plenty of parking, great cafe and gift shop and fab animals,

It is great experience of animal. We have close interactions with Meerkats, snake, chameleon, red foot tortoise and lemurs. Originally we should have monkey, but as the monkey just had new born baby, so they used reptiles (snake, chameleon and red foot tortoise) to replace. They also advised us this replacement in advance and offered refund if we did not like the replacement. We had a great day by feeding some of these animals or close watch and learned a lot about these animals. It is great value of money

Was a bit sceptical to be honest when I got there, but my how wrong was I? Excellent friendly staff and so much to see and do. Bats, butterflies all flying free. Fed the meerkats and lemurs and enjoyed listening and learning about them. Thoroughly worth the money and well worth another visit - these small venues need as much help as we can give them. Excellent day out for any age group. Thank you for making it such a special day!

All the animals we met were great, and we got a bonus 2 extra species too. Would definitely recommend.

Had to delay our trip here for a while due to covid but it was so worth it! I had an amazing day and loved every second. The keepers were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the animals. We got to hand-feed the meerkats, lemurs, and small monkeys and all three experiences were incredible. Can be difficult to get there unless you have a car, I went by bus and they aren’t very frequent and stop on a main road but it wasn’t a huge issue.

Brilliant time meeting a range of animals and learning about them from friendly andknowledgable keepers

Went with my partner to three animal encounters in the Lakeland Wildlife Oasis. We got to see and feed the meerkats, emperor tamarins and lemurs. Each encounter lasted around 20-30 minutes but due to specific feeding times for each of the animals, we spent around 3 hours in total at the zoo. The zookeepers are very knowledgeable and friendly, they were very keen to answer any questions and share information about the animals themselves as well as Wildlife Oasis in general. The encounters were interactive with participants being able to hand-feed the animals as well as set up enrichment feed areas for them. Note there might be up to 6 people in the encounter group in total, depending on how busy the venue is with bookings. due to COVID19 situation there were additional safety measures in place, which we were quite impressed by, but which did not in any way diminish our enjoyment of the experience. Wildlife Oasis is one of the smaller zoos, so the encounters are reasonably priced and your money goes towards supporting this small organisation in their efforts to preserve endangered species and look after the animals in their care. Overall, I highly recommend the encounters at Wildlife Oasis and would definitely do it again!
