Lovely gift of afternoon tea
The hotel is lovely, clean bright and welcoming. The staff were cheerful and polite and immediately mentioned that they were aware of the emails that I had earlier sent to them, telling them about my allergies. I gave them a paper, taken from Allergy UK, explaining everything about my BOP allergy, and they were not only interested, because no one had heard of it, but asked if they could print a copy off. They said that they would show it to the chef, but also keep it as future reference for any other sufferers. We were then shown to our table, and the chef, and serving staff had gone the extra mile to make sure everything was correct, even placing different items on my server that they knew I was safe to eat. It was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon tea. It felt so special and the staff were so friendly and welcoming, that we felt like regulars. We will certainly be going back again.

60th Birthday present
Afternoon tea at the Georgian restaurant at Harrods was a gift from my daughter for my birthday.
It was such a wonderful day, the staff were very attentive, explained what all the filling were in the Sandwiches, and what the beautiful looking cakes were.
Everything was displayed so nicely.
The tea was plentiful.
Never felt if we were being rushed to finish, offered more Sandwiches when we finished our servings.
It was such a wonderful afternoon and truly brilliant gift.

Surprise Birthday afternoon tea
A lovely afternoon tea at the Taj Hotel in a beautiful surroundings. I booked this as a surprise treat for my husband, and the attentive staff made the experience even more special. The vegetarian options were excellent, the food was generous, delicious and beautifully presented. We also appreciated being able to take the remaining food home.
