Diving with Sharks Experience at Skegness Aquarium, Midweek Offer

Wander through the shark enclosure of Skegness Aquarium for a once-in-a-lifetime shark diving experience. The tank displays a collection of beautiful bat rays, unicorn fish, Blacktip reef sharks and a striking zebra shark. After kitting up in a wetsuit and immersing into the purpose-built training pool, benefit from a safety briefing and equipment orientation before participating in the dive. Become accustomed to the state-of-the-art full face masks designed to optimise participant comfort. These masks have built in diver communication devices to keep the diver linked to the instructor for the whole experience. Take part in Europe’s only aquarium shark dive for complete novices. Finish off the day by exploring the rest of the aquarium's many attractions such as the new Jurassic falls area.

• Availability Description

  This voucher is valid for one person. Walk-ups are not accepted, please book this experience in advance. Lead times can vary based on peak times of the year, so please book early to avoid disappointment. Available to book Tuesdays and Thursdays, year round. The dive takes place at 9am and 3pm but guests have access to the aquarium all day. At the discretion of the Dive Team, more spaces may be made available to meet demand. All dates are subject to availability.

• Participant Guidelines

  This experience is for one person. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Minimum age: 10 years. Maximum weight: 18st 10lbs. No previous experience is required, although confidence in water is essential.

• Duration Detail

  This experience lasts approximately two hours, with at least 30 minutes spent inside the Coral Ocean display.

• Dress Code

  All equipment is included. Participants must bring their own swimwear, towel, and shower products.

• Other Info

  Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website. There is a digital lesson which will be carried out via an online e-learning link and needs to be completed prior to arrival – details for this and other elements of the experience will be included in the confirmation e-mail. Please note, participants are required to fill out a medical declaration to confirm their fitness for the experience and sign a digital registration form. There will be a group size of four per session. Each paid participant may bring one free spectator. Additional spectators are charged at extra cost. All participants will be videoed during the experience and will have the option to purchase a video link of the experience.
