Start off with a full safety briefing and equipment orientation, getting to grips with the state-of-the-art full face masks designed to optimise comfort and allow natural breathing. Take the plunge and glide past the Treasure Island Wreck of Hispaniola, coming face to face with magnificent bat rays, tropical fish and beautiful Black Tip Reef Sharks at The Skegness Aquarium – under the watchful eye of an expertly trained instructor, who will be in contact via a communications device throughout. Luckily for you, these mysterious creatures are non-man-eating and will only be curious about their new visitors! After your adrenaline-fuelled shark dive, come up for air and explore other exhibits and marvels of the Skegness Aquarium.

What do I need to know?

• All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences
• Your voucher is valid for one person
• Walk-ups are not accepted – you must book this experience in advance
• Available Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, year round
• The dives take place at 9am and 3pm but guests have access to the aquarium all day
• Lead times can vary based on peak times of the year, so please book early to avoid disappointment
• At the discretion of the Dive Team, more spaces may be made available to meet demand
• This voucher includes entry for one spectator – for participants under the age of 16, this must be a legal parent or guardian. There is a cost of £9 per spectator for any additional spectators
• Minimum age: 10 years
• Maximum weight: 18st 10lbs
• Your experience lasts approximately two hours, with 40 minutes spent inside the Coral Ocean display
• There is a digital lesson which will be carried out via an online e-learning link and needs to be completed prior to arrival – details for this and other elements of the experience will be included in the confirmation e-mail
• Dive equipment and diving training is included. No previous diving experience is required, but confidence in water is essential
• Please bring your own swimwear, towel and shower products
• Please note, you are required to fill out a medical declaration to confirm your fitness for the experience and sign a digital registration form
• All participants will be videoed during the experience and will have the option to purchase a video link of the experience
