About the experience
Fascinated by fossils? Look no further than this family day out at Dinosaurland Fossil Museum in Lyme Regis on Dorset's Jurassic Coast, a traditional museum with more than 12,000 specimens on permanent display. Set within a historic listed church, the contents of this awe-inspiring museum date back a great deal further than the building they reside in. During your visit, you’ll be able to marvel a spectacular collection of local Jurassic marine fossils, ranging from the largest Ichthyosaur through to ammonites, belemnites, fish and starfish to the tiniest microfossil. You’ll even receive a take home booklet about how to find fossils in Lyme Regis yourself!

- This experience is available week round from 10am-5pm, February-October. During winter, the experience is available Saturday-Sunday from 10am-4pm
