About the experience
Delight a lover of Robin Hood to the ultimate precision sports in the great outdoors. Suitable for ages 10 to 17, aspiring adventurers will enjoy an expert taster session into archery, air rifle and clay shooting. They’ll learn how to shoot targets, steady their hand and improve their aim beside an experienced instructor. Watch them beam as they strike that bullseye and splat down the high-flying clay with a junior-size shotgun. What do I need to know?

Mothers Day - Day out with the kids
John was extremely patient with our group who had no prior experience and ensured everyone had a good opportunity to try the different activities… it was a great fun day out. Location is perfect for a walk, lunch and shipping afterward at Rushden Lakes. Would visit again.

Fantastic Family Activity
Bought this experience as a Christmas present for my, impossible to buy for, husband and we (us, 19 year old daughter and 13 year old son) decided to use it yesterday.
From the moment we walked through the doors, at Sporting Targets, we were made to feel so welcome by both the staff and the other patrons.
Our instructor, Bob, was wonderful - so patient and helpful. Once he had ensured we were safe with the equipment he stayed around to encourage us to try the different targets and to help with any technique issues that needed tweaking.
We had a wonderful hour and then stayed on to have lunch on the patio whilst watching some other guests doing clay shooting.
We have definitely found a new favourite family activity.

A great experience
I arrived a bit early but was guided to the reception to sign in and was able to start earlier than the time I had booked which was great.
My instructor John got me kitted up and asked if the weight of the gun he selected was good for me and explained that I would need to be able to move with it smoothly while shooting.
Next, we made our way to the first shooting area where John explained gun safety and the correct way to hold the gun while shooting. John also asked if there was anything I didn't understand to let him know and he explain again but using a different way to help me understand.
Once done we began shooting which was great, John explained and showed you where the clay was going to come from and where the best point to start following it once it was released.
While over my 1 hour of shooting, we went to the 4 different shooting areas which were all different, which made it fun and John would provide advice to assist me if my shooting.
Clay Pigeon Shooting - One Hour Session

Enjoyable experience
Very good experience with our instructor John. However felt that it was little expensive in comparison with another one available at the same site. You could get shooting clay and archery for four people at moment for £89. However enjoyable outing with my wife although an Hour and half drive.

Although we arrived 15 minutes late due to extensive traffic - overall, it was wonderful to experience this for the first time with my husband.
