Lovely little getaway
Had a lovely evening in a lovely setting. Open fire, glass of wine and friendly staff. The food was lovely! And the friendly waitress let us take our cheesecake back to our room as we were so full! Would definitely recommend this pub!

lovely venue
lovely, cosy inn, rooms excellent with nice extra touches such as a xmas tree in our room, food was very good with lots of choice. over looks peak district so lovely views and quiet surroundings.

Hotel stay with dinner and breakfast
Historic pub with spacious, well equipped rooms, excellent dinner (ambience, food and service) and breakfast. Re the breakfast, this was especially hard to fault -- it had everything, especially if you opt for the cooked breakfast. If I was being really picky, I could criticise the WiFi, but this could be due to the age / location of the property, anyway -- we just used 4G instead, also the £20 supp for weekend bookings.
