Spoil the wine enthusiast in your life with this delightful day out at the family run Yorkshire Heart Vineyard and Brewery. Upon arrival you’ll be served a lovely light lunch in the venues cosy visitors centre, before embarking on a fun and informative tour. You'll begin the tour with a taste of their award winning sparkling wine which you can enjoy whilst you are shown around the beautiful vineyard by owners Chris and Gillian Spakouskas, and then end your visit on a high with more delicious wine tasting, from a selection of their white, red and rose wines, served with some lovely light refreshments in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Lovely Christmas gift

Lovely day, lovely drive down to the vineyard, very informative. Well looked after, showed us the workings of the brewery the history of how it all started, and all the effort that goes into growing and nurturing the vines, very enlightening! with refreshments and snacks, and lunch, meeting staff and new friends and then the purchasing of their lovely Wines! Thank-you and YES! WE WOULD DO IT AGAIN

Great day out!

Loved the vineyard and hearing the story of how it started. The tour was interesting and engaging, the wine tasting was delicious and afternoon tea was beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our day, and was worth the trip!

a great day out

Introductory talk was interesting! Seems the first Indication of wine making was experimenting with 'plums'. The plum wine was well accepted by the family and friends and to cut a long story short grape vines were introduced on a small area which grew and grew. The family element is at the heart of the wine making success. The friendly staff made everyone welcome and the formal 'sight seeing' and wine tasting etc was equally entertaining. The visit was rounded off with a good meal and everyone went away carrying various amounts of Yorkshire Heart Wine. Being over eager Avril and I had our own wine tasting the same evening sharing a bottle of Latimer white wine which rounded off the perfect day!
