About the experience

Enjoy a leisurely eight-mile cycle tour on classic vintage-style bicycles and enjoy the stunning scenery of Windsor & Eton before finishing up at the spectacular Windsor Castle. Along the way, you will stop off at the quaint village of Dorney and race by the Olympic rowing lake before taking in the splendour of the oldest inhabited castle in the world, Windsor Castle. Bring a camera, because then it's yet another historic site, Eton College, where 19 British Prime Ministers were educated, before your tour ends by the Thames. From your final destination, you can easily reach the train station or choose to enter Windsor Castle (entry not included). Fun and Informative

The Windsor Bike Tour was a real treat. Trish our guide was full of enthusiasm from start to the finish. She had a wealth of stories throughout the tour from the historical to the quirky. Trish clearly has a love for all things Windsor. The tour takes you along the Thames, to Dorney Lake then back to the Castle. You get to see Windsor from a different side to the traditional views and the route uncovers some delightful surprises along the way. The stop off location for a rest and a drink is perfect too with a wide range drinks, cakes and pastries to tuck into. There is a fair bit of cycling (the clue is in the title) but Trish designed the tour around our pace. I would definitely recommend this experience. It was great fun to cycle around such interesting places plus the bonus of a keen and knowledgeable guide made the tour one to remember

Fab way to spend a few hours.

Great informative way to see the area on 2 wheels instead of 4

A great way to explore Windsor

This was a really enjoyable and chilled way to explore Windsor and the surrounding countryside. The route was mostly along he river on canal paths, flat, and with only a small section of road. Our guide Trisha was very friendly and informative and had a great sense of humour too - she really made it fun! The route stops mid-way at Dorney Court which is a lovely setting and a great opportunity to sit in their garden cafe with a coffee and scone. The second half takes in the Olympic rowing lake at Eton and back along the river to the end point. A great way to spend 3-hours learning some history of the area & castle, and taking in some great views, followed by a trip to the castle itself. Would recommend!
