Lovely spa with friendly attentive staff, cream tea was delicious.

Had an amazing time at this beautiful hotel - room, staff, location, food & all round service was faultless!

… and I have enjoyed quite a few! Loved the savoury variant- utterly delicious. The tea menu was exquisite and we could mix it up and try any that floated our boats. Great gin cocktail (I had Seedlip non-alcoholic, a thoughtful touch that not all hotels accommodate.) Best of all was the attentive Athenaeum service, we loved all the staff who looked after us. Service was lovely, food was delicious. Who knew you could make watermelon ?? taste like salmon. Really enjoyed the experience.

Bought these vouchers for my wife’s birthday. Process was easy and stored in my account. The Atheneum contacted me via email to obtain the codes so when we finished the hotel had taken payment so no need of searching out the voucher codes etc. We had a lovely afternoon & the service they provided was excellent. We opted to have additional bottomless Prosecco & they kept our glasses topped up at timely intervals, never quite empty. Afternoon tea was great, quality sandwiches & cakes.

Bought this for brothers birthday. He enjoyed his old fashioned whisky cocktail and the meat sharing platter board
