Happy Wedding Day Gift Voucher

So I purchased this voucher for myself and my family member to go have afternoon tea at Harrod's. The experience was really nice, with The Georgian being mesmerising in person (photos do not do it justice). The food was really nice, especially the scones. I don't have too much of a sweet tooth so I wasn't a huge fan of the pastries, but the scones and jam were perfect and I think if you like sweets, you will also like the pastries. The tea was fab as well, just wish the pots were able to hold more as one pot was the equivalent of one cup of tea. This meant we had to request for tea frequently. The staff were polite and helpful. The only reason I am taking off one star is because we were left waiting for a bit in the beginning for both tea and sandwiches due to I think our waiter having ended his shift and having left. Another waiter did not take his place but the general manager eventually noticed we were not really being attended to and starting taking care of us. After this, tea and food came to us quickly so I really appreciated that. We were also disappointed that there was no pianist, so my advice is to avoid booking late on Sunday or Sunday at all for a chance to have the pianist there (not sure when they play but I assume busier periods are covered). Also big thank you for the birthday card left at our table to mark the occasion, it was a nice takeaway.

We had a lovely afternoon tea at The Georgian in Harrods. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. The sandwiches were tasty, and the scones were the best we've ever had. The choice of 4 jams was good. We had all four and they were amazing and full of flavour. We enjoyed it so much that I'm taking my daughter there for afternoon tea on her birthday in December

A fun evening with really good food. Actors were brilliant re-creating the mannerisms of Basil, Sybil and Manuel. You are allocated a table but try to sit facing into the room to avoid turning round to see all the action. It felt just like eating I the Fawlty Towers hotel restaurant

I have been to the National Gallery many times but to have a guided tour with an art historian took our visit to another level. We learned so much and were shown how to understand the paintings. I cannot recommend this highly enough. The afternoon tea was a delightful end to a fabulous afternoon.
