Lovely place, but horrid experience getting there
The Artea tearooms was fabulous! Beautiful food and excellent service. Highly recommend.
Dealing with or trying to deal with Buyagift was hideous! Signed up for a place that no longer takes the vouchers but is still available on the site! Then trying to get hold of someone to refund the voucher plus the extra I had paid was ridiculous and took hours! Not sure I would ever use again

Sandwiches good would be better with a bit of salad Cakes nice although a little sweet for us the scone was excellent and tea was nice and hot with refills as requested

Disappointing afternoon tea.
Service average, polite but not welcoming.
Savory course lovely, cakes small and only one of each type and size made it difficult to cut in half and share, packed out wit two dry scones each with not enough jam and cream to help out.
No offer of a drinks top up or asked if we'd enjoyed our meal.
Not sure if this was because there was a wedding at the venue and staff were stretched. (We'd have booked a different day had we had know, we left like we were intruding on their special day)
We left with our a goodbye or thank you for coming.
We wouldn't return, we've had much better afternoon tea's at least extravagant venues.
