Great day out ..well worth it

Overall the experience was fun, though not quite what we expected. There was no advance communication about anything other than the helicopter ride, so we had little idea what to expect in terms of the hike. The day started not with the hike, as we had thought it would, but with the boat trip. The 'peaceful' boat trip advertised was actually a rapid rib ride! We loved it but it may not have suited people who thought they were getting a sedate boat ride with a cream tea on board!! The hike turned out to be self-guided with the assistance of a pdf file and Google map that was emailed to us on arrival. Again, although we enjoyed it, it was not the beautiful coastal walk we expected - at least half of it was walking along quiet roads with no view. On our return, we had our cream tea, which was fine, but very basic and luckily we had our own chairs in the car. We then had an hour wait before our helicopter flight, which was amazing but only about 5 mins long. So overall, good fun but maybe not what people might be expecting.

We had a fantastic day! Great value for money, and each part of the experience was great overall! However the organisation could have been better. Communication about specifics of the day was poor prior to arriving. We called ahead to find out more, and when we were there things ran smoothly. However there was a long wait for the helicopter ride at the end of the day. Overall a fantastic experience, if you don’t mind going with the flow you will love it!
