Overview

Embark on an exhilarating white water rafting experience for one on the River Tryweryn in Wales. Nestled in the beautiful Snowdonia National Park, this river has high flows that are perfect for this activity. After an expert has given an initial introduction and debrief, climb aboard a six-person inflatable raft and prepare to take on the twists and turns as you crash down the natural white water rapids! You'll have plenty of time to enjoy some challenging runs along this exciting one-mile section. Get ready for an adrenaline-fuelled adventure as you navigate the rapids and make a mighty splash during this two-hour session!

What do I need to know?
  • All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences
  • This voucher is valid for one person
  • Available daily from mid December to the end of October, subject to water releases by the local river authority
  • Please book at least six weeks in advance as dates fill quickly
  • Severe adverse weather conditions or local environmental issues can affect water releases and rafting – participants MUST call the venue two days prior to the experience to check weather conditions and the latest water release information
  • Bring swimwear and a towel. If you own a long-legged wetsuit bring that. Boots, helmets, wetsuits and buoyancy aids are provided. Glasses and contact lenses may be worn at your own risk
  • The raft holds up to six people plus a qualified instructor
  • Participants must be able to swim at least 25 metres before they can brave the rapids in the 14 foot inflatable raft
  • Any medical conditions must be declared before booking and venue may test fitness
  • Max chest girth is 52 inches
  • Minimum age is 12 years
  • All dates are subject to availability
