Ideal husband gift

A very good gift as you can choose something near where you live. Very good that we could change the date to suit us. The golf course we chose is fabulous, hotel and grounds. We had lunch there as well which made it a lovely day for both of us. The golf pro was very knowledgeable and helped my husband’s swing. The Barnham Broom was very friendly and welcoming.

Best Christmas present ever

Had this Christmas present from my daughter and was over the moon. Richard my “Guru” is brilliant in half and hour I picked up good tips and skills.

Unredeemable voucher, avoid

Upon departing my previous employer my colleagues got me a golf lesson as a gift. How nice I thought, not realising how frustrating it would be to try and redeem this voucher. The monetary value is small but selling unredeemable vouchers is still a scam. The thing is, you have to first log on to buyagift and provide your details. You are then forwarded onto a secondary site, https://golfprolocations.com/, where once again you have to register on the site to only find out they don't allow you to make a booking online. Rather, a list of phone numbers for supposed PGA professionals and associated clubs is provided, leaving you to figure out how to make the appointment yourself. I tried calling a few of the nearest clubs, one of which said they no longer have a PGA professional and I couldn't reach the professional directly either. Great. Having then contacted "Thalia" at golfprolocations via email she still suggested I call the professional. During another month of trying to reach the "professional" ("Mike"), he actually picked the phone up twice (!) but was always too busy to talk and said he'd get back to me... not. Golfprolocations have been hugely unhelpful when I've tried to get them to make the booking for me - I'm flexible after all with the timing. Avoid like the plague.

Disappointing experience.

We were advised on arrival that the professional we booked with was not available. Another professional gave the lesson. It was supposed to be for 2 people but he only gave me a lesson and not my husband. We did not receive the £5 voucher either. Disappointing experience

We arrived earlier in order for us to get ready, do a brief warm up etc, which was fine. We had both taken our own clubs, however there were clubs there. It was an informative and useful lesson by the pro and I would definitely recommend!
