Myself and my husband attended a afternoon tea at Peckforton Castle on Friday which was bought as a gift for us andit was a brilliant day and the setting is beautiful, the only criticism is the choice of sandwiches as I am a fussy eater and I did enjoy them but everything else was excellent and would recommend it to friends and family

Lovely venue at Stan hill court although an extra supplement was needed above the price of the voucher. Good venue, good food and a free upgrade for a wedding anniversary although no reference to the anniversary and no other freebies which we usually get from Other hotels! Menu wasn’t huge but the food was excellent and really well presented. Lovely location although you have to pay £10 for parking above the cost of the voucher and the extra charge!

A brilliant box of goodies. Lots of variety of sweet and savoury foods and plenty of it. Made a lovely gift and we thoroughly enjoyed it over a couple of days. The bonus was choosing a day for delivery,. We often get Tea for Two as presies, we really enjoy them. But it was a nice change not having to leave home. Sat in our chairs and enjoyed.

Lovely afternoon tea and visit to Alnwick gardens. First time visitors. As much tea and coffee as we could drink. Brought a few cakes home with us as couldn’t finish it all. The scones and sausage rolls were delicious.

Staff were attentive and very friendly. Sandwiches and cakes were presented beautifully and were delicious.

The whole experience exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend this journey on the Pullman. From initially being greeted by Jill, as wewalked towards platform 2., we were made to feel at ease and so welcome. The girl singers was a lovely touch. Truly adding to the atmosphere. All the staff were attentive and nothing was any trouble. Freddie our Steward was excellent along with the service of the other carriage staff. The carriage , including the toilets are beautiful. Comfortable chairs . We enjoyed all our food and wine. The journey was at a leisurely pace through some scenic coastal and countryside areas. An added surprise was the Girl Singers coming through the carriage. They sang several songs including an individual one for our special wedding Anniversary. Such talented, friendly Girls. The journey ended with a thank you from Freddie, more singing on the Platform and goodbyes from tge Chef and the Train Manager. Thank you Belmont for a wonderful experience.

we were given a Buya git voucher for 2 to take the castle tour and the afternoom Cream tea. Booking for our visit was very easy castele staff bing very ppolite and easy to deal with. It took us some time to get suitable date as the tours only take place one day a week. However on the day we ere not dissapointed. On arrival we were met by a smiling friendly person who offered us a pot of tea. We enjoyed the tour very much, a very relaxed and knowledgable gent told us about the rooms and the artifacts and pictures. Then on to our cream tea that appeared without delay. We were offered the opportunity to walk freely in the Castle gounds. Looking at their prices I would opine that the afternoon was very good value and willrecommend it to friends
