Afternoon Tea in Lake District

Great place to celebrate our anniversary with afternoon tea at Wivenhoe house

Had a lovely afternoon tea at Patisserie Valerie. The staff were really friendly and attentive, and the whole experience felt relaxed and welcoming. The selection was great too! a nice mix of sweet and savoury treats and everything tasted fresh. Really enjoyed it! Lovely gift

Beautiful hotel and setting, the afternoon tea was superb, with delicious sandwiches ,cakes and warm scones and bath buns. Refill pots of tea. Service was impeccable, we had a very enjoyable experience. We will be back.

Huge variety of gifts to choose from. Easy to follow instructions. SOmetimes some offers can catch you out in terms of booking initial voucher then having to pay substantially more for a specific date/tour etc so I would recemmned you to read all details and find out inforamtion via emails/phone calls before purchasing anything. Other than that, the process and events are outstanding.

We were celebrating a friends' Silver anniversary , and could not have been more delighted with it all. The welcome on arrival, attentive and prompt service made the whole occasion an afternoon to remember for us all. Thank you so such!

Amazing venue! Staff very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious. The pastry in the Bakewell tart was perfect.

Situated high above Windermere and Bowness, Hillthwaite offers fantastic views of Lake Windermere and the hills beyond. We received a friendly greeting from reception who introduced us to the friendly Maitre D. We were offered a choice of tables and elected for a window table to enjoy the spectacular view. The afternoon tea consisted of a very good selection of sandwiches, sausage roll , lovely scones with jam and clotted cream, an excellent selection of cakes and a really nice desert. There was a choice of tea or coffee ( we chose tea) and an enjoyable glass of Prosecco each. The meal as extremely enjoyable and the service excellent. We would have no reservation in recommending Hillthwaite and are in fact looking forward to booking a stay there.

A lovely afternoon tea with very intricate cakes and puddings all arranged beautifully in a mini Cragwood House. The staff were lovely too.The views from our table were stunning too looking out over Lake Windermere.
