This was meant to be a special birthday gift for my sister in law. The staff at Chiseldon house were attentive but the food and presentation was very disappointing. No tablecloth, we felt like an after thought even though I had paid and booked weeks before. The cakes were really dry and the chocolate cake in edible, sandwiches were very plain, I could have done a better job myself. The champagne didn’t feel special either, very small plain glass which we didn’t enjoy. No problems with buy a gift.com at all.

Delicious food, lovely gardens, excellent service. 10/10. We were worried after reading some reviews that we would leave hungry and dissatisfied but this was one of the best afternoon teas I’ve had (and I’ve had a lot!) I had to take some home as I couldn’t manage it. Would recommend this to anyone.

We were welcomed on arrival. The food was delicious and the dining room surroundings sheer luxury. This was a 3rd visit and a 4th will definitely be on our list of things to revisit.
