Fantastic venue, great service and superb food. Had a voucher for Sunday lunch with fizz. Service was attentive, it not intrusive. Food was superb. Sat down at 12.20 - table was booked for 12.30. Good atmosphere and although it was 5* dining it didn’t feel stuffy. Hubby had the roast beef, which he highly recommended. I had the lamb shank, but was served off the bone. I wasn’t expecting that, but the taste was excellent. Only two slight criticisms…the wine waiter managed to drip red wine when he poured on 4 separate occasions and hubby would have liked an additional slice of beef. Having said that weld highly recommend and will return - their 7 course tasting menu looks amazing

Beautiful three course meal - fabulous smooth and creamy Vichychoisse soup, wonderful rare sirloin beef and the smoothest chocolate dessert. Fabulous attentive, but not intrusive service and always a pleasure to visit.

The food was amazing, plentiful and great choice of extremely high standard. The atmosphere was elegant but also warm and cosy. The staff are friendly and really care about their customers. This is one of my favourite restaurants and I would highly recommend.

The three-course meal with a glass of Brut was fantastic and the setting was very nice. However, apart from some hand sanitiser upon entry and the waiters wearing masks, I was a little concerned by the lack of anti-COVID measures. The restaurant was packed and other tables were a lot closer to us than two metres. The new face mask rule was not implemented either. The lavatory is a little off-putting, too - men, women, and children all enter the same enclosed space, which is something I am personally against. You also have to climb a set of stairs to enter. This could pose problems for disabled people. There was no mention of this when I made the booking. If I had taken my elderly Nan here, this would have been a problem. Service was okay, but there was a forty-five minute wait between our main and dessert. Also, I noticed that there did not seem to be a dress code in place. Overall, I would come back but only when this COVID-19 situation has lifted.
