We got there in the end with Buyagift - Brigit's Bakery was FABULOUS!
A bit of an epic. Gift voucher from Buyagift was for F1 simulator but 'no longer available' when tried to book. No matter! So, tried to book afternoon tea at Cafe Concerto instead but when I tried to select location, computer said 'no'! No matter! Instead I tried to book Brigit's Bakery for afternoon tea. Thought I'd add a glass of fizz and this meant I'd have to pay £0.01 extra on top of my voucher. I tried to make payment to Buyagift but computer said 'No!' No matter. I then tried the non-prosecco open so no additional payment was needed. Computer said 'No!' I'd tried the contact chat room but the AI engine just took me around in circles. I tried to find a phone number but that proved impossible. I then managed to find a chat room that was manned by Buyagift humanoids rather than Bots. Within a couple of minutes something had been changed on the system and before long I had made the booking for Brigit's Bakery. My wife and I went to Brigit's Bakery last Thursday for afternoon tea and it was absolutely fabulous. I would definitely go back. As for Buyagift, the sad thing is I still have £20 of my voucher remaining so will have to try some other experience. I just hope the computer doesn't say 'No!'
