About the experience
Searching for an unforgettable thrill? Tick off your bucket list and experience a white-knuckle skydive! Begin your experience with a safety briefing and introduction before boarding the plane for take-off. The plane will ascend to 14,000ft, where you’ll be securely attached to your tandem partner, a highly experienced instructor. Then, it’s out into the blue! Take the ultimate leap of faith and free fall through the sky at speed of up to 120mph – you won’t forget this feeling! At around 5,000ft your instructor will deploy the parachute, so you’ll drift gently back down to the ground as you take in the beautiful English countryside below.
What do I need to know?
- Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
- This voucher is valid for one person
- Available week round, year round
- Maximum weight: 15 stone or 13 stone if you are under 5'4"
- You will be required to complete and sign a 'Declaration of Fitness' – this will be provided when your booking is confirmed. If you are unable to self-declare these forms, you are required to take form 115b to your doctor to sign
- You may also need a 'BPA Declaration of Fitness Form 115' if you have any existing medical conditions – please enquire when booking
- Minimum age: 16 years
- Under 18s will need a separate signed letter of consent from a parent or guardian before training commences
- Unless you and your doctor have obtained the prior approval of the Medical Advisor to the British Parachute Association you will need to pay a compulsory BPA membership fee of approximately £25 on the day of your experience

Amazing experience
From booking to jumping out the plane was all so effortless
I did a sponsored Tandem Skydive on 11th October for a local network
Signed in that was easy and the lady was super friendly and informative
I was then taken to the briefing area where I met Dan my instructor/Tandem partner
Lovely friendly guy with loads of knowledge and many years experience
The briefing was easy to understand and the rigorous strapping of the harnesses was a comforting feeling
The flight was about 15 mins then it was time to spring into action
It was both exhilarating ,nerve-racking ,mind blowing but a great experience and the views as I was lucky enough to have a sunny day
Can definitely recommend it
Do it if its something you really want to do
I never felt scared anxious or worried as the team saw to that you were comfy with everything
Would I do it again maybe maybe not but you have to give it a go
Family loved watching and we're so proud and Langar have some new customers so all good

Superb Langar, - poor Buyagift
I paid £300 for a gift for my daughter, when I went to book the event, I needed two pay another £22 because 'My voucher was not enough' when I get to the Airfield I need to pay a further £25 insurance.
While we were waiting for our turn, the Airfield is advertising for jumps at £270 for a weekend, £240 for a weekday jump. Since then I have received an Email telling me I can book a repeat jump for £210.
I feel a little cheated if I am honest, Langar Airfield were superb, the safety side was bang on (there was waiting time due to cloudy weather), Langar's facilities were great, plenty of seating, plenty of parking, staff were fantastic, even the coffee was good, but I feel Buyagift have screwed far too much money from me just for having the website.
In future I will use the website to get the ideas but find somewhere local to place my business.
The web ordering process makes you feel like you are buying 'A package' but sadly this is not the case, it was more like the opportunity to become a cash cow...
