Experience the beauty and majesty of the Harris Hawk at Millets Falconry in Oxfordshire! The educational conservation centre has over 100 birds of prey and other wild creatures to get up close and personal with and is a perfect day out for a pair of nature lovers. The Harris Hawk is an amazing social raptor found in Central and South America and they are known to hunt in a group for their prey. Embark on a brisk walk in the countryside and prepare for a Harris Hawk to swoop down from the treetops and onto your gloved hand! This really is a great way to learn about these beautiful creatures in their natural environment.

The best gift for a nine year old
We were absolutely delighted with this Junior Zoo Keeper experience. My daughter got to interact with a wide range of animals that you wouldn't normally get to see including racoons, a Raven, Skunks and a Kookaburra as well as meerkats and lots of other animals. There was plenty of time spent with each animal encounter and the zoo keepers experience, knowledge and enthusiasm made the whole experience truly unforgettable. The intimate Flying Display was excellent as well with the Falconer making the display really interesting, informative in a non boring way, with a chance to get really close to the birds.
We will be returning for a Meerkat Experience for the adults!
I would highly recommend this for any child over 8 years old
