About the experience
Lift off from Mid Wales for a 50-mile helicopter tour over castles, villages, rivers and rolling hills. The route takes in Powys Castle and Lake Vrynwy, with its striking stone dam, before heading towards Pistyll Rhaeadre waterfall, the Berwyn Mountains and the Severn Valley. Look out for far-reaching views towards Snowdon from a Robinson R44 or Jet Ranger Bell 206.
What do I need to know?

- Minimum age: 5 years; under 16s must be accompanied by a participating adult
- Maximum weight: 17st
- This is a weather-dependent activity, mainly due to wind speeds and cloud base above the ground
- It is crucial to call the venue before setting out to check conditions
- If the flight is cancelled, it can be re-booked directly with the venue
- Please allow about one hour at the venue, including a safety briefing and a flight time of 30 minutes
- Please arrive a few minutes in advance of the booked time to ensure a prompt start
- You'll share the helicopter with up to three other sightseeing enthusiasts
- Spectators are welcome to watch the take-off and landing
- A pair of binoculars or a camera comes in handy
- Please bear in mind that inside the helicopter can get quite warm
- Sunglasses are recommended all year round
- Please note, the actual mileage may vary slightly depending on Air Traffic Control requirements
- Disabled passengers are welcome, with carers
- All passengers must purchase a seat on the flight
