60 Minute Robinson R44 Helicopter Flying Lesson with Helicentre Aviation Academy

This 60-minute Robinson R44 trial lesson offers extended time to explore the principles of helicopter flight in a four-seater aircraft. A pre-flight safety briefing and an introduction to core concepts come first, followed by an instructor demonstration of the controls. During the flight, there is an opportunity to take the controls under guidance. The experience includes a personalised flight certificate.

What do I need to know?

• Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
• Available week round, year round, outside of daylight hours
• Minimum age: 16 years
• Participants should be sufficiently mobile to enter and exit the aircraft with minimum assistance; small steps can be provided if required
• Maximum height: 6' 4"
• Maximum weight: 136kg/21 stone
• Participants should discuss suitability directly with the helicopter operator if there are conditions relating to the heart, seizures and sinus blockages, or medication that can cause drowsiness or excessive bleeding
• Confirm any relevant health or weight restrictions with the supplier at the time of booking
• Participation may be refused if safety is compromised or if eligibility requirements are not met; all safety instructions must be followed as directed by crew
