Magical Christmas Experience Choice Voucher

On arrival the manor house is lovely. When checking in the house didnt have our booking for overnight stay , we coyldnt understand it was asked are you sure its for a overnight stay . I comfirmed it was provided the day & time i called to book. Was asked to wait so they could check. Turned out we was booked in for afternoon tea not ovrnight stay . The person at reception had said we have 1 room left . Ok so we proceeded to our room . When entering room noticed a used paper straw half under the bed , clearly not been cleaned properly., also while stood at the window lookung out i noticed the lining of the curtains was badly stained aon bith panels but the right panel the curtain was so badly torn it was ridiculous was shocked to be honest . Room then felt grubby. I then said to my partner whim i bought the experience for im sorry and im going to report this. Took photos and reported to reception . Who arranged for cleaner to go and clean and maintence to put some clean cuetains up. I saud i was not happy as it should nit if gone un noticed . Wiyld of not stayed we had drive a couple of hours in heavy traffic to be there. Wont stay there again .
