Fun Together Gift Experience Voucher

Have never been before and certainly wasn’t disappointed! We went on an extremely hot day but there were plenty of places to eat, drink & cool down. Beautiful gardens and friendly staff. Need to go back to see parts we didn’t have time for.

We received the afternoon tea experience as a gift through Buyagift, which was a lovely surprise. However, there are not many suitable venues close to us, so we chose the Three Fyshes as the most convenient option. The afternoon tea itself was lovely and the food was genuinely tasty, but unfortunately the service did not match the quality of the food. We ordered cold drinks to go with our food, as well as tea and coffee, but our food arrived before any of the drinks. By the time the cold drinks finally reached the table, we had almost finished eating. We then asked for a glass of water and for the tea and coffee, which also took a long time to arrive. There was very little checking of our table, and we often found ourselves waiting for staff to notice that we needed something. While we appreciate they may have been short staffed, the lack of attentiveness made the experience feel less enjoyable. The bar area is extremely small, which may contribute to delays, but it does not fully explain the long wait times or the limited interaction from staff. If you do not mind waiting for service, the food itself is lovely. However, the overall experience would benefit from more timely and attentive service to match the quality of the afternoon tea.

Couldn' fault the location, staff and most importantly the food. Highly recommended

Service wasn't good,Was under staffed,they said they were busy but not huge amounts of people there Lots of waiting,had practically eaten all the food before we had the drinks Shame as I had been before and recommended it to our group Sandwiches were abit dry and no butter used on some but sweet bits were nice
