About the experience
Discover the thrill of mountain biking in the Peak District with this one-day taster course. Get on track for future success as you develop core skills with the help and support of an instructor. Build the confidence and progress from moderate off-road trails to more challenging intermediate tracks. Learn important riding skills, improving your footwork and body positions. You will also learn how to set up your bike and begin to understand important safety aspects. Tackle a variety of different terrain – from smooth flowing tracks to rugged trails that take you off the beaten track! Enhance your skills and enjoy a memorable day out in this breathtaking location.
What do I need to know?

- The instructor to participant ratio is 1:6
- You will need to bring your own helmet and hardtail or full suspension mountain bike or you can hire a bike from the local garage for an additional £30 (including a helmet)
- Please wear clothing appropriate for the weather and comfortable footwear
- Make sure to bring a good supply of snacks and a drink
- Minimum age: 18 years
