What a Pleasant Surprise
We were gifted the bottomless Gin/Fizz afternoon tea at the Mill, we live 30 mins away - so decided to grab the train so we could both enjoy the hospitality. The Food was plentiful and fresh, the staff were super attentive, and the selection of gin included flavoured, which was a nice surprise. We are not massive "drinkers" but the staff refilled each time our glass was empty, and even offered us a hot drink for the train ride home, which was a lovely touch on their part. The train is literally 1 min walk away - so it was ideal, and the venue was clean and spacious, we didn't feel we were on top of teh other afternoon tea-ers. I am already planning booking to take my mum, what a gem of a place - Thanks :)

Lovely afternoon tea
Had bought my mum and afternoon tea gift for a Christmas present. Was easy to download voucher and book. Went to The mill bar and restaurant Stowmarket. We were served a variety of sandwiches, scones and cakes and were offered refills on our coffee and pots of tea several time. The lady serving us was helpful, polite and attentive and the restaurant itself is very nice.

Tea Time Treat
Warm welcome. Afternoon Tea was booked so all ready to go when we got there, no waiting. Everything was just delicious. Have had many an afternoon tea and this one was spot on. Fresh sarnies, good range of fillings. Perfect warm cheese scones and sausage rolls. Lovely fruit scones, butter, jam and cream. Wonderful cake selection and paper bags provided for what we couldn’t scoff. Two pots of tea to wash it down with. Handy location too, for two non drivers, right next to the station. Would very much recommend as a treat to yourself or a gift.
