Unfortunately I cannot recommend
Unfortunately I cannot recommend this experience. For the price paid and location I expected more. I felt the portion size was mean. For example, one already small portion size of cake was cut into two instead of just presenting with two cakes. Also, only one small scone for each person. The scone is much smaller than the photo advertised and not a traditional texture. I only enjoyed the carrot cake as the others were too dry. The photo advertising this experience did not match what was served. Also, on the day we could not drink the Prosecco and I feel the alternative, which was 2 extra drinks, does not match the value of an extra £30 used to upgrade my booking from the normal afternoon tea.
Positives are the ambience, decoration and cleanliness was good. The staff were smiling and friendly. However, I cannot recommend this experience.
