About the experience
Get ready for some pampering with a spa treat for two at Motion Health & Leisure Club, based at The Copthorne Hotel in Merry Hill and overlooking the Dudley Canal Marina. During your time at the leisure club, you’ll have full access to the range of facilities available, which include a 17-metre indoor swimming pool to take a dip in, a state-of-the-art gym to work up a sweat in, and a steam room and sauna to unwind in. For even more pampering, head to a tranquil treatment room where an expert therapist will transport you to a peaceful oasis with a 25-minute spa treatment. Just choose either a cranial massage, facial, or foot and leg massage to leave feeling like new.
What do I need to know?
- Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
- Your voucher is valid for two people
- Available Monday–Friday, year round. Bookings are available from the 1st March 2023
- Hire robes and slippers for an additional fee, payable directly to the supplier
- Minimum age: 16 years
- Please inform the supplier of any health conditions at the point of booking. Treatments are restricted for pregnant people
- Please note, aqua classes are scheduled in the pool on Mondays and Fridays from 1pm–2pm, during which time the pool will be unavailable. Children may be using the leisure club between 9am–7pm

Nice experience
The venue itself is absolutely lovely. I loved that after having a 25 minute treatment we then had access to the facilities of swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room ,sauna and gym. I wasn't too impressed with the treatment that I had (cranial massage) it didn't feel like I'd had anything done much at all afterwards so not sure if it was worth it for that but enjoyed the rest of the day.

Disappointing Experience
The facilities here were disappointing. The pool area was extremely busy with no available seating for relaxing.
The changing rooms were little more than a corrridor, with very little space for getting dressed/undressed.
There were no cups for drinking water available in the pool area.
Staff greeted us pleasantly on arrival, but didn't tell us where anything was, including towels, treatments, refreshments. We were charged for robes, despite this apparently being included.
Our treatments were completed in 20 minutes and we were ushered back out of the room - these should have been 30 minutes.
All in all, we spent 2 and a half hours here. During that time we were only able to sit down when having our treatments. The rest of the time we had to stand/swim in the pool. We sat in the sauna and steam room, but in both we were made to feel like we shouldn't be there by other users. One regular (we assume) tutted at us for talking in the steam room. The jacuzzi was constantly full of regulars and there was no getting in it for us.
