Fantastic experience

We had a great time. Emma is really engaging and on hand to help with any questions and show you techniques to achieve the effect you want. The afternoon tea was amazing and they box up anything you can’t manage so you can bring it home. The gardens are lovely too. I would advise checking that the course you’re buying the experience for runs on the day you want to go before purchasing. The course we had a voucher for didn’t run on weekends so we had to take a day off work. It was definitely worth it though! We’d recommend Emma’s workshops.

The whole experience from booking to going and enjoying making a fused glass item followed by a sumptuous Afternoon tea is superb. I CANNOT RECOMMEND IT HIGHLY ENOUGH. No previous experience necessary. No artistic skills needed. The tutor Emma helps you achieve a worthwhile piece. Book it now. The photos are before firing.

Excellent gift..!!

We spent a couple of hours in the glass class, first we were given a demo of what we could do and how the glass fusion works.. Emma was extremely friendly and we had lots of laughs and a great time with her. We had a glass tile to work on, and lots of tubs of ‘fret’ (tiny pieces of glass like grains of sand) plus boxes of multi coloured glass pieces of different shapes and sizes to make our pictures. We both thoroughly enjoyed the two hours, and would love to return to do more! We then moved across to the cafe, where we enjoyed a fabulous afternoon tea of warm quiche, sandwiches, cakes and scones with jam and cream, plus a large teapot of hot tea..scrumptious ..! I’m so pleased that my daughter bought me this gift!

We arrived early and decided to have a look around the showroom and get some inspiration on what we were about to undertake. Emma greeted us and took us over to the workshop, she was so helpful and friendly, time passed so quickly. Before we knew it, we were ready to tuck into our afternoon tea. Fresh sandwiches and cakes and warm quiche and scones. It was a lovely experience for everyone. I can’t wait to go back and pick up our creations!
