Brave the shark enclosure of Skegness Aquarium with this adrenaline-fuelled scuba diving experience. Scattered remains of the Hispaniola wreck can be found buried at the bottom of the Coral Ocean exhibit, including the cannon. The tank is also home to a collection of bat rays, unicorn fish, black tip reef sharks and a zebra shark. Start off by kitting up in a wetsuit and hopping into the purpose-built training pool, for a safety briefing and diving basics with a trained instructor. Once familiar with the breathing techniques and the state-of-the-art full face mask to allow natural breathing, move over to the Coral Ocean exhibit for a thirty-minute dive. Grab at the chance to interact with the resident marine life, while coming face to face with the sharks as they weave their way around the tank. When the dive is over, explore the rest of the aquarium at leisure and discover the fascinating exhibits.

• Availability Description

  This voucher is valid for one person. Walk-ups are not accepted, please book this experience in advance. Available to book Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, year round. The dive takes place at 9am and 3pm but guests have access to the aquarium all day. Lead times can vary based on peak times of the year, so please book early to avoid disappointment. At the discretion of the Dive Team, more spaces may be made available to meet demand. All dates are subject to availability.

• Participant Guidelines

  This experience is for one person. Minimum age: 10 years. Maximum weight: 18st 10lbs.This voucher includes entry for one spectator – for participants under the age of 16, this must be a legal parent or guardian. There is a cost of £9 per spectator for any additional spectators.

• Duration Detail

  This experience lasts approximately two hours, with 40 minutes spent inside the Coral Ocean display.

  All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences. There is a digital lesson which will be carried out via an online e-learning link and needs to be completed prior to arrival – details for this and other elements of the experience will be included in the confirmation e-mail. Dive equipment and diving training is included. No previous diving experience is required, but confidence in water is essential. Participants must bring their own swimwear, towel and shower products. Please note, participants are required to fill out a medical declaration to confirm their fitness for the experience and sign a digital registration form. All participants will be videoed during the experience and will have the option to purchase a video link of the experience.
