About the experience
Experience the ultimate nostalgia as you turn the key and go for a memorable drive in two classic British cars, alongside a qualified instructor. Choose any two vehicles from the Luxury, Premium and Classic Collection and take them for a 20-minute spin each. Navigate the six-mile, closed-road course in Derbyshire in cars ranging from the Triumph TR7, Bentley Eight, Austin 1300 GT, Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit and more. Furthermore enjoy entry for two adults to The Great British Car Journey exhibition. During your visit, an interactive audio-visual device will take you through nine chapters of the ups and downs of British car manufacturing from the early 1930s to 1990s featuring some rare and unique vehicles to admire.
What do I need to know?
- Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
- Your voucher is valid for one person
- Available Wednesdays, Saturdays and selected Sundays, year-round (during Autumn/Winter months experiences operate on a reduced schedule)
- Minimum age: 17 years
- Please bring your confirmation e-mail with you on the day
- Drivers must hold a full driving licence which will need to be presented on the day
- You will have a fully qualified instructor with you during the driving experience
- Some driving experience providers may ask participants to sign an indemnity or damage waiver form on the day of the experience. This means they may be asked to contribute towards the cost of any damage caused to the vehicle during their experience. Full details of the indemnity or damage waiver will be provided by the experience provider. We’re unable to advise or comment on the content or suitability of the waiver. Most providers also offer an optional indemnity or damage waiver for an additional fee. This is separate from the public liability insurance held by all venues

What a day at Great British Car Journey
My Third Visit and pleased to see the collection expanding with some interesting new an unique additions to the car on display. Thoroughly enjoyed the two drives today with helpful staff making the experience very enjoyable.

A great little place
From the point of us booking in for our drive dad's car experience to the point we left the staff were amazzing. A real good friendly vibe from the team really made our day a better experience. The car drive experience was great, the onward visit to the museum we found really intresting. Getting up close to all those classic cars was a real highlight. The audio and all the diffrent links of information was so intresting. We didn't get a drink in the cafe as it was super busy but I guess that speaks for itself. We fully recommend this gift, perfect for all genders and ages.
