What was once the hub of the Capital’s power generation is now open to the public for the first time in its 90-year history. You’ll learn all about its significance, architecture and how it’s evolved over time with the fascinating exhibits including an interactive installation that allows you to generate energy with a giant multiplayer touchscreen. Let the anticipation rise for the main event in the Infinity Room before it’s your time to step into the state-of-the-art glass elevator and rise up the north-west chimney to 109 metres in the air. What do I need to know?

• Entrance is between 10am–3.50pm. You will be able to select your entry time at the point of booking
• Please allow around 40 minutes for this experience
• Adults are aged 16+. Children aged 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Infants aged two years and under can enter free of charge and do not require a ticket
• Please inform the supplier of any accessibility requirements at the time of booking. For a step-free route, please reserve the wheelchair lift
• Please note, there is no cloakroom available. Visitors are asked to only bring a handbag or small rucksack. Pushchairs and buggies are only permitted in The Gallery space and cannot be brought into the Lift
• Dogs are not permitted, with the exception of guide dogs and assistance dogs
