Bombay Sapphire Distillery Discovery Experience with Gin Cocktail for Two

An extremely professional, informative and well-organised experience. Highly recommended

When it came to the initial taster it reminded me of the series of Porridge with all the prisoners on the metal walk way with the guards looming over them. It made you feel uncomfortable and gave the impression of 'calculated meanness' and tainted the atmosphere. We came to taste but not everybody wants to get pie eyed. Our guide made the tour successful by her enthusiasm but overall it was a bit of an own goal by the brewery. If there had been more than our 6 it would have been good: the tour guide would have had limited time to answer questions, and with a crowd we probably would have difficulty hearing her, despite having a good voice and she keeping to a fix timed script would not have been able to show her personality and enthusiasm for the brewery. When we went into the ingredients identification section most of the samples were old, and had lost their scent. We trawled around several settings. Missed 'performance opportunities'. The original video was too much of a hard sell. Hence the middling score. In warm weather you would naturally be more interested in trying more in the bar. Go in warmer weather.

Pretty much what you would expect. A nice way to spend a couple of hours if you like gin. Very informative
