Great Lunch

We had the 3 course lunch set menu with wine and enjoyed it very much. The food was beautifully presented and very tasty. Even the glass of house wine was very good. As a couple, we never order the same meal as we both like to try different foods and share. We paid extra supplements on a couple of dishes, but we actually preferred the other dishes. What we did find disappointing, was the standard of dress of some of the diners, but I guess it is a sign of the times! Overall we had a great lunch and would recommend to others.

Very nice lunch experience @ Vaasu. The set menu has something for everyone to choose from. The service was as you would expect, exception. The house Chilean Sauvignon Blanc was also good. We did order Naan bread as an extra for our mains in order to mop up that lovely sauces server with the meal. We said whilst there we would come again. Marlow is a very good town for a stroll after lunch and walk down to the Thames. Recommended.

After several delays due to Covid we finally managed to use this December 2020 present. Vaasu was excellent - from a warm welcome, attentive and friendly service to first class food. A great choice and a very satisfying present.

The highlight was the impeccable service. We enjoyed most of the food. Starters and lamb main were very tasty as was the baked peach. A £5 premium for three overcooked, chewy prawns was not good value and the amount of rice served to two people was not enough for one - designed to make you buy extra bread basket? The starters’ presentation was very minimalist.

Not only is the food amazing, but the venue is really inviting and comforting. Service excellent. The chef has a knack of elevating food with spices and making the bland delicious. I had a watermelon chat, it was unbelievable and thoroughly recommend trying.

Using 3 vouchers we had lunch for 6 at Vaasu. Both the meal and the service were excellent in this very busy restaurant. I would certainly go again.
