About the experience
Whitechapel appears very different to how it looked in 1888, in many ways. Look a little closer, though, and many sights and sounds still remain from those dark slum days, when a notorious serial killer terrorised these dark streets. Your knowledgeable guide will walk you through the scenes of Jack the Ripper’s grisly murders, share intriguing puzzles that leave so many questions unanswered and show you original crime scene photos. This tour is not for the faint hearted, as you delve into gory details and discover how ‘The Ripper’ got his name. Starting at Aldgate Tube Station, you’ll take in the old slums and new financial district and see the 300-year-old pub, known to have been frequented by the poor victims of The Ripper – and most likely by the man himself. Whoever he may have been. Perhaps you’ll be the ones to finally solve the mystery of his identity after gathering all the fascinating evidence on this fascinating and spine-chilling tour.

Gruesome and Gritty but Thoroughly Captivating
I attended the Jack the Ripper walking tour with my partner on 4/7/26 after booking through a Buy a Gift voucher. The booking process was easy and provided clear, easy-to-follow information about the tour and meeting point.
The tour lasted just under two hours, and we were fortunate to have Angie as our Ripperologist. Angie was captivating from the start with her knowledge and genuine passion for history and Jack the Ripper, making the tour incredibly informative. She was able to piece together the events of autumn 1888 in such a way that no important detail, person, or location went without mention. Detailed photos were shown (including the gruesome ones!), which really helped us picture Whitechapel as it would have been. Angie explained at the start that, due to the starting point, the tour wouldn't be in chronological order. However, she regularly refreshed the timeline as we went along and summarised everything perfectly at the end.
I would highly recommend this tour to anyone with an interest in London's history. Book onto one of these tours and you won't be disappointed. We'll definitely be looking at some of the company's other tours in the future.

Very good
The tour guide herself was very informative and I really enjoyed this.
Just feedback would be to not have so many people on the tour. There was over 30 and so could not hear much if at the back and especially if on a busy street. Max 20 would be better. Also headphones would have helped.

Brilliant walk around Jack's hunting ground, the guide Serena was really good , informative and knowledgable, would recommend this , a great way to spend a few hours in London.

Our tour guide Paul was so knowledgeable and my fiancé and i thoroughly enjoyed the whole walk and all the information we was given. Doing it in the evening made it even more interesting and we had a nice size group of people and the weather perfect for early October. Great value.
