Avoid this if you value your health
I would have given this one star but that would be unfair on some of the staff at the hotel who were very friendly and were clearly doing their best.
So on arrival reception staff were very friendly and helpful and we were given an upgrade to our room to an executive suite! although I would say the upgrade still looked like a basic room. The only difference was it had a small sofa in it
We went to the spa and this is where it went down hill quickly. Firstly the spa is a basic pool, with a small jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. It is so out dated that it was like being in a very poor leisure centre. To top it off the jacuzzi was not working and only some of the jest were actually working, teh sauna had water on the floor with what looked like parasites wiggling in it
While we were there a local resident who uses the facilities said that many members had raised these issues with the spa staff for several months yet nothing had changed. The jacuzzi edge was all dirty. As a result we didn’t stay longer than 20 mins in the spa
We had our 25 minute treatment and actually that wasn’t too bad
So my overall rating would be avoid this place unless you are going to just do a stay at hotel as spa part was awful and unhygienic

Almost great
The place is very nice, massages was great but unfortunately the customer service was substandard apart from the bar staff every time I asked for something from the receptionists like when my tv apps were not working so I could only watch free view tv instead of YouTube etc like everyone else they told me they will call me in my room when they have someone to fix it but no one ever called leaving me and my partner with a broken tv, they even stopped picking up the phone when I called from the room to see if anyone was coming, that has ruined the whole experience as I thought I was going somewhere where customer service is of value so I probably wouldn’t go back, but it is a nice fancy establishment.

Fabulous Stay
Staying at the Crowne was wonderful, beautiful grounds to walk round, fantastic food which was really delicious and accommodation was very clean and pleasing to the eye.
